Good points: Well laid-out controls, excellent LCD display, silent wash action (just the sound of the water sloshing around), efficient drying especially after a 1600 spin.
Bad points: So far, no real bad points.

Good points: Large capacity. LED light / timer.
Bad points: Drying time is very long and not satisfactory. Drying not as good as seperate tumble dryers but probably on par with other washer dryers.

Bad points: Need extra push on door to make it start. Very good all round, but let down by the door needing such pressure to close.

Good points: This washer dryer is seriously quiet, and versatile with washes.
Bad points: None noticed so far. It's brilliant...

Good points: Lots of settings available.
Bad points: Dryer is not fully customizable. Running a wash & dry program actually tends to damage the clothes as the spin is automatically set to 1600/min which is far too high. The solution is to wash -then- dry, but it then takes longer.

Good points: Quietness fast wash 30 choice of spin speeds delayed washses.
Bad points: nothing major, really pleased with my WD860 - excellent value.

Good points: Really quiet machine.
Bad points: When you put the drier on it still does a very fast spin so it tends to crease up your clothes an awful lot, it would be better if you could change spin.

Good points: Well built Quiet Can adjust temperature and spin speeds on preset programmes.
Bad points: Long drying times.

Good points: Very quiet. Easy to read panel of instructions - even husband understands!.
Bad points: Tumble dryer not as quick in drying as separate dryer.

Good points: Its really quiet even when using the 1600 spin speed. Its digital display helps to make sure you have set the optimum wash settings for your load. Its great to know how long the cycle will take so youre not hanging around waiting for it to finish.
Bad points: The buttons on the front of the WD860 are easily knocked when walking past, but this is easily avoided by using the child lock feature. The tumble dryer uses a spin speed of 1600 which cannot be switched off (unless I just havent worked out how to :-) ) , so when drying at high temperatures clothes can get excessively creased. Generally very happy with this product!.

Good points: Fast and efficeient.
Bad points: Not able to stop dryer once cycle commenced. unable to just move on programme quite pleased with products performance.

Good points: Fairly quiet, easy to use and looks good.
Bad points: Has broken down after 6 months which is unaccetable. I would not buy hotpoint again, especially as friends had warned me against buying them before i purchased dur to unreliability I came back from a 3 week holiday to find the machine not working after 6 months use. This is completely unaccetable.

Good points: Easy to use, nice and quiet. This is the 1st time i have had a washer/dryer and my first impression is very impressed. I would recommend the product.
